Please use the Enquiry Form if you have a question. Download, print and then send us the completed form (and any relevant documents) by email, fax or post.

No charge is made for preliminary enquiries and costs estimates are always given before legal advice is provided by our network of expert family lawyers.

The Enquiry Form asks the name of the person making the enquiry and, if different, the name of the person on whose behalf the enquiry is made. We must also have the name of the other party or parties in order to carry out a conflict check before we can refer you to a lawyer.

If we cannot get an answer to your enquiry we will say so without charge. If you want us to telephone or fax our response please ensure the number given is private. Our response will be given only to the person making the enquiry - confidentiality precludes us from discussing your enquiry with any other person without written instructions to do so.

The minimum charge for providing legal advice in response to an enquiry is £500.00 (plus United Kingdom value added tax of 20 percent, if applicable). The charge covers administrative expenses incurred in carrying out a conflict of interests check and opening a new file as well as the time charge of at least one senior lawyer. Sometimes more than one lawyer will work on answering your enquiry.

If answering your enquiry is likely to be more expensive than the minimum fee of £500.00 (plus VAT if applicable) we will provide you with as much help as possible within budget and let you have an estimate of the likely cost of any further work which needs to be done. You can then decide if you wish to instruct further.
